The Darren Leech Landscapes & Gardening website is a classic example of how any small business can afford a professional WordPress website.
Darren wanted a website design and build that would showcase his Bollington, Cheshire based landscaping and design services but without a huge development cost. No problem!
In addition, Darren did not have an official business logo so a brand new one was created at the same time as the website. Having a good brand or at least a logo in place before committing to a website is a must! It's the pinnacle of any business and where building an online presence starts. No matter how good your website looks, if your brand isn't up to scratch then it will speak volumes to a visitor and potential customer. After all, if you have no pride in your own business how can you have pride in someone else's business or requirements.
As budgets were restricted the website was built on the Avada framework and re-skinned and populated with the new logo, colours, text and imagery. This is a fantastic way of enabling small businesses to get online with a well-built and well-supported WordPress website.
There is absolutely no excuse or reason why a small business or startup should not be able to compete with the larger more established firms in terms of design and build. So many smaller businesses have the knowhow and skills but lack budget at the start, which puts any online presence on the back-burner or worse - they get sucked into website leases or solutions that tie them in and restricts their growth.
Through choosing a WordPress platform, Darren now owns his website, hosting and domain outright without any leasing, monthly fees or developer tie-ins. WordPress is completely portable so future updates can be undertaken by any Website Developer in the future (although I hope Darren stays we me of course!) and Ambitious Design never holds clients hostage.
Darren now has a professional website he can truly call his own!
